Specialty and Premium Bolivia & COE Coffees

Happy New Year!

Dear Invalsa and Café Valverde customers,

As we say in Bolivia, “prosperidad, exito, y felicidad en el año nuevo” — we wish you prosperity, success, and happiness in the New Year!        We’re starting off the year by telling you about our newest Cup of Excellence arrival — from the Puerta Verde (Green Door) farm in Guatemala.

We bought this lot directly at the international, internet COE auction.  The farm, in the Antigua mountains of Guatemala, is run by 4th-generation coffee farmers.  The coffee’s taste was described by COE cuppers as “cedar, sweet licorice, orange zest, butterscotch, pineapple.”  You can order green coffee   here, and roasted coffee here.

Get a 10% discount on  Puerta Verde, 2009 Guatemala Cup of Excellence winner, until February 28th, 2010.  Enter coupon code “puertaverde”.

Please send any questions, comments, or feedback on this newsletter to tina@invalsa.com.
